St. Monica Home

Named after the patron saint of mothers, St. Monica Home opened in July 1994 on Saint Margaret Mercy’s wooded Dyer Campus. The two-story yellow house offers a medically sound and emotionally healthy environment for a pregnant teen to reside while waiting for her baby. Residents of St. Monica Home learn to foster positive relationships and parenting skills under the guidance of experienced and encouraging resident advisors.

St. Monica Home nurtures residents through educational programs, counseling sessions and prenatal services. Residents also have the opportunity to continue their education and gain valuable work experience.
